My role at the Treehouse
I have been working in the Basement Systems web department since January 2006. My role in the web department has changed over the years where I got hired to build landing pages and now I have become a SEO (Search Engine Optimization) GEEK. My primary jobs are to maintain relationships with our clients (dealers), manage dealer sites, and create internal reporting and back-end tools to make sure my team has everything they need to do their job properly.
In addition to back-end database programming, I work with all the account managers including: Prarthana Sharma, Jacques Bouchard, Diana Cavallo and director Paul Wan. We currently manage 120 or so dealer web sites. If the dealers have any content updates, questions or problems on their sites, I am their solution :)
Of course, I also manage Basement Systems main web site along with the home energy audit - Dr. Energy Saver site and Team Basement Systems Dealers Only Intranet. Ummm, these are just SOME of the things I do. I spend 20%-30% of my day on the phone talking to dealers or advertisers. I'm planning on optimizing my phone time to get some more work done, lol.
